Pistol League
League Description and Rules:
·
Each league is 10
weeks duration with a 2 week make-up period.
·
Four
900-point (90-shot) sub-aggregate relays are shot weekly, two on
Wednesday and two on Saturday.
· Relays start at 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM Wednesday evenings.
·
Relays start at 9:00 AM
and 10:30 AM Saturday mornings.
·
Course of fire for
900 sub-aggregate relay: slow fire (20 shots); national match course
(30) shots; timed fire (20 shots); and rapid fire (20 shots).
·
There are six
league award categories: Overall, Master, Expert, Sharpshooter,
Marksman, and Marksman .22 only [for beginners].
·
League winner in
each category is based on a league aggregate score comprised of five
900 .22 aggregate scores and five 900 center fire (.32 through .45)
aggregate scores. [Exception: Marksman .22 only class is based on
ten 900 .22 aggregate scores.]
· A minimum of ten 900 aggregate scores is required to be turned in to the statistician for league aggregate record to complete the league.
·
Participants may
shoot one to four relays each week at their discretion.
·
Make-up period is
for those shooters who were not able to shoot a relay during a
normal league week. Shooters that completed the league can also
shoot during the make-up period.
·
Awards banquets are
held to celebrate league activities.
